Behind the scenes of a new project!

Hey there!

No new pattern design this week, but I do have some fun art to share.

I found myself in a bit of a creative rut this summer and I’m slowly pulling myself out of it. I’ve been taking a course that’s helping me hone in on my signature style and draw a lot more.

Turns out I really just needed to get my pencil moving, even when it feels hard and things aren’t coming out quite right. I’ve been creating a ton of art and love where it’s going. Here’s a peek at some things I made recently.

What do you think? Can you see a style emerging? I definitely can!

One more thing—

This week, I’m beginning to work on a new project! I’ll be putting a collection together of 10 different patterns to license on products. It’s going to take me about 6 weeks to complete, and I plan on bringing you along!

So for the next several weeks, expect updates on my thought process and peeks at how it’s going. You’ll also be the first to know when it’s released!

Talk soon,

Rachel
